OK, you've probably figured out that this isn't an actual snapshot of a typical day on the Grand Canal.
For this photo, I spent almost an hour taking over 80 images. Then I combined just the right portions of those images to create this photo, which is also known as "A Busy Day on the Grand Canal".
This photo was selected by National Geographic senior editor Kurt Mutchler for a gallery show called 'The Art of Travel Photography'.
And who is that happy couple at the very bottom-center of the photo? I'll never tell.
