The original Quattro Cavalli.
These original four horses were taken from Constantinople during the Fourth Crusade. They were taken by Napoleon to Paris and were then returned to Venice by the Austrians.
Replicas of the Quattro Cavalli are found on the balcony of the Basilica San Marco as they overlook the Piazza San Marco.
