I'm Back!!!

Next week I will announce the biggest and hughest recognition of my career...and it is an International recognition

Yes Italy fans, I am back in Italy blogging action. And, after a 3 week trip to Italy, I have much, much more to share with you. More to share on the who, what, where, when, how and why of Italy!

But wait please! Next week I will announce the biggest and hughest (is that a word? well, it is now because it’s now on the internet, so it must be real!) recognition of my career…and it is an International recognition. It’s much bigger than the Berlin Foto Biennale recognition of 2016.

So, please stay with me until next issue of Italy, Our Italy.

What I Have in Store For You from Our Latest Trip

Our last trip was a wonderful combination of old friends and new friends, among old places and new places.

The Who?: The “Old Friends” part relates to being with two couples that we have known for many years. They wanted to see Italy for the first time, and we wanted to share OUR Italy with them. Ten full days spent with our friends in the Italian environs was wonderful. An additional 11 days shared between just Ellen and me followed.

And “Old Friends” also relates to the wonderful people of Italy that we have gotten to know over the years. The New friends? You will meet them over the next several issues of my Italy, Our Italy blog articles.

The Where?: Taking neoItaliano friends with us necessitated visiting sights we have visited before, as they are typically the quintessential sights of Italy that everyone needs to see at least once in their lifetime. So, we enjoyed seeing those sights again…but it was a better and intriguingly different dynamic with old friends in attendance. Then, as Ellen and I remained for an additional eleven days, we were then in new places most of the time. So, I will also share new experiences soon. And, of course there were places and faces to see once again, as they always continue to draw us back.

The Why?: Well, why not! We wanted to go and so did they, so we did.

The How?: Planes, trains and automobiles…the usual. And lets not forget walking…yes, lots of walking.

The What?: That’s kind of an amalgam of all of the above.

I can’t leave you without a few photos from the trip. So, here are both old and new friends that you may get to know more about on a later date.

A Small Collection of Friends, Both New and Old

With wonderful Pamie!

As you can see, smiling is an essential element of being in Italy!!!

I am certainly looking forward to letting you see what we saw in our last trip to Italy.

And, don’t forget that in the next installment of my Italy, Our Italy blog, you will find out what the big recognition is all about.
